Cory Monteith's Death

Canadian actor Cory Monteith, heart throb of Fox's musical-comedy television series Glee, has been found dead at a hotel in Vancouver,Canada, police said.
There were no signs of foul play, they said, and the cause of death was not immediately apparent.
Paramedics responding to an emergency call found Monteith, 31, dead at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in the city centre, Vancouver Police Department acting chief Doug LePard told a news conference.
Monteith had checked into the hotel on 6 July, and was due to check out on Saturday, LePard told reporters. Others were in the hotel room with Monteith on Friday night, but evidence including his fob key entries indicate he returned to his room by himself early on Saturday and was alone when he died, police said.
"We do not have a great deal of information as to cause of death," coroner Lisa Lapointe said.
Lepard said Monteith had been out with people earlier and that those people were being interviewed.
LePard said he wanted to offer condolences "to the family, friends, castmates and millions of fans of Mr Monteith".
Monteith's spokeswoman, Melissa Kates, said in a statement: "We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate."
"I have no words! My heart is broken," Dot-Marie Jones, who plays football coach Shannon Beiste on Glee, said on Twitter on Saturday night. She called Monteith a "hell of a friend" and an "amazing" man.
"What an absolutely tragic loss of a very talented young man," tweeted the actor Zooey Deschanel.
Fox and the producers of Glee, including 20th Century Fox Television, called him an exceptional performer "and an even more exceptional person. He was a true joy to work with and we will all miss him tremendously".
"We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss," his representatives at Viewpoint public relations in Los Angeles said in a statement.
In April, Monteith admitted himself to a treatment facility for "substance addiction" and asked for privacy as he took steps toward recovery, a representative said at the time.
Lea Michele, his Glee co-star and real-life girlfriend, told People magazine then she loved and supported him and was proud he was seeking help.
It was not Monteith's first time in rehab. He received treatment when he was 19 and had previously talked about his addiction struggles, saying he had a serious problem and took just "anything and everything".
He told Parade magazine in 2011 he was "lucky to be alive".
Monteith, who turned 31 on 11 May, starred in Glee as a high school football player who puts his status and popularity at risk to join the glee club and its outcast members.
The show, with its pop music-based song-and-dance numbers and high-profile guest stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, became an immediate hit and made stars of its relatively unknown cast.
On his Twitter account, Monteith described himself as "tall, awkward, canadian, actor, drummer, person".
Monteith was born in Calgary, Alberta, and moved to Vancouver Island as a child.
His TV credits included roles on the series Kaya and Kyle XY. His film credits included Final Destination 3, The Invisible, Deck the Halls and Whisper.
An autopsy was set for Monday, LePard said.

Change is a Choice. (a message to the people of Asia on preserving natural resources)

To the citizens of Asia (on preserving natural resources)  :

It has been the primary instinct of man to use the resources around him in order to stay alive. He uses these resources to thrive through his daily endeavors. Using these resources is not bad because we need them to survive. However, some people are going beyond the border of actually using them for survival and abusing them. Abusing these resources lead to destruction of mother nature. This paves the way for natural disasters and calamities which are paired with global warming and climate change. These may be inevitable, but there's something we can do to address these problems. There are certain ways in order to control the further destruction of our natural resources.

One of these solutions is reducing our carbon footprint. Carbon footprint is the amount of pollution caused by our daily activities. If done collectively, we could dramatically reduce the amount of pollution in our surroundings. Another solution is proper waste disposal. We must always see to it that our waste is disposed in the designated areas. By doing so, it will pave the way for recycling and henceforth, our natural resources will be preserved. Another solution is proper use of pesticides. The rampant use of pesticides contribute to a large amount of damage to our soil. Damage to our soil  means damage to our plants. And damage to our plants also translates to damage to our ecosystem, therefore, damaging our natural resources. Another solution is developing energy saving methods to avoid wastage of energy. We must start within our homes. By controlling the use of energy in our homes collectively, we could reduce the energy which are still derived from non-renewable energy sources. There may be countries which are already utilizing the use of renewable energy such as windmills, solar panels and hydroelectric power, these just constitute to a little amount of percentage to the total demand of our society. In short, we still widely depend on non-renewable resources which are slowly being depleted and therefore, will be lost in the near future. Let us utilize renewable energy sources because it ensures sustainability in the future generations.

Now, let us talk about the major causes of this crisis. One of the primary causes is overpopulation. As a matter of fact, Asia contributes to more than half of the population of the world. And most countries in Asia has the fastest growing populations in the world. The higher the population, the higher the demand of natural resources. This translates to using more than we could produce. And this is not good. It's like spending more than we could earn. Think about it. If so, then there will come a time when our natural resources will be completely depleted. If this will not be addressed as soon as possible, it will be impossible for the future generations to enjoy what we have now. To enjoy these resources provided by nature. Let us also think about the future.

What we really need is change. Let us change our mentality of being very confident that nature will be able to provide us our needs and wants FOREVER. There will really come a time that when these resources are not used properly, they could end. There's no such thing as FOREVER. Everything has an end. This may be inevitable but there's something we can do to keep it going till the future. Educate yourself and the people around you. Provide them with knowledge that these resources are needed by everyone. That these resources are the main things that keep us breathing. That keep our system working. Share with them the gift of knowledge. The gift of knowing when and how we must use our resources. An individual effort may be useful but if we hold the sky together, then no one will be shattered. Let us start within ourselves. And let us work as a whole. Let us work with a common goal. A goal to change the world. A goal to make it a better place for everyone. A goal to keep humanity survive. A goal to happiness. Let us keep in mind that an abundant harvest today does not always guarantee an abundant harvest tomorrow. Everything has an end. But if we help each other, No one will be left unaided.

                                                                                                          Sincerely Yours,
                                                                                                      Ace Hulsey A. Teves

This has been my best set of Classmates so far - It's so complete. The nerds, athletes, bookworms, Shy ones, Happy ones, sensitive ones, fat, thin, beautiful EVERYTHING. So Here's a photo i made

These photos I compiled are photos during our Christmas Party. Our beloved adviser is in the 4th from the left - Our second mother. There have been a lot of disasters that happened in our class but my love for them will never change. They are people whom i consider - real friends and real people. What i like about my classmates is that they listen. Even if they could not respond sometimes on what you want them to do for you, the listen and try to find ways. That's one thing i like about them. We have developed a very strong support system and a bond like no other.

"A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself"

And by friend, I mean - my classmates. All of them. I consider all of them my "friends". I love them. And that quote said everything. I am very free to be myself whenever I'm around them.

MAY THIS SERVE AS A BELATED CHRISTMAS GIFT FROM ME. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I have been addicted to this game for a while now. I learned it from my brother and I really find the game interesting. I have been quite successful in the game somehow. And here are some exclusive tips from me on how to be on top of your friends in the game.

1. Be Consistent

By Consistent, I mean open the game at least twice a day on 6-Hour Intervals. Be consistent on planting food for your Dragons and Be Consistent in battles.

2. Don't Waste

Don't Waste. Money, Gems, Food are your key materials in the game so never waste them for things which are not that useful. As for Gems, don't waste it on speeding up because you could use it in the longer run. don't waste gems on decorations. you'll not need them that much. but if you saved enough, it is considerable to use them on speeding up if you really need to. As for gold (money) , don't buy things which are not that important such as expensive decorations. Don't buy expansions if it is not that necessary. You Could use your extra gold if you want to, but don't be very extravagant. Use it moderately.

3. Immediate use of food

In my opinion, after you harvest your food for your dragons, use them immediately. (except if your dragon's levels are high and you need to save) Your food will add the gold influx as your dragons produce more gold if it has a higher level.

4. Strengths and Weaknesses

I find this technique really helpful. in the stadium and in the combat world. Here are the strengths and weaknesses of your dragons :

Metal Element
Weaknesses: Electric
Resistances: Fire, Earth, metal
Effective against: Ice, Earth
Resisted by: Electric, Fire
Ice Element

Earth Element

Water Element
Weaknesses: Fire and Dark

Electric Element
Weaknesses: Water
Resistances: Electric, metal
Effective against: Water, Fire, Metal
Resisted by: Earth

(as for hybrids, refer to the first element shown.)

5. Always produce food

Food is one of the most important keys to the game. If you have a lot of food, it means your dragons will be able to be at a higher level and higher level means higher advantages.

6. Breed and Hatch

Breed and hatch continuously. Don't leave your hatchery and breeding mountain/tree without use. Continue breeding and breeding for you to get a lot of newer dragons for battle and for gold produce.

7. Enjoy the Game

In everything that i posted, this is the most important. you must enjoy it. Make the most out of it. If you enjoy, You will be more progressive in the game.

THANK YOU FOR READING AND HAPPY PLAYING !

    • Description

The Galaxy Grand is mostly about having a big screen at an affordable price. The screen is not HD, it is not a high-resolution display, but instead to arrive at that price Samsung had to pick a WVGA, or 480 x 800-pixel panel. That works out to a pixel density of around 186ppi, which is far from retina and decisively mid-range, so you’d be able to see some jagged edges on icons. Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Grand runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor of unknown breed, and on the back there is a capable 8-megapixel camera. Good news is there is little shutter-lag and start-up is allegedly quick. The camera features backside illumination sensor (BIS) for better shots in low-light conditions, and it is capable of recording 1080p video. The Grand also has a front-facing, 2-megapixel camera for video calling. It all runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which should mean that performance is smooth lag-free with Project Butter.
